I thought I’d start a thread on Minneapolis potential lock out. Honeywell wants to lock out the union. I doubt it will actually happen. We have no backbone and they love their overtime.
I think they will have a proposal by Thursday or Friday. We will vote it in and it will be all over. I would love them to lock me out I could collect unemployment and look for a new job.
We have five working days left before the lockout begins. If we don’t come to terms with a new contract.
Honeywell is very smart. Just hire a bunch of divorced people who have to pay child support, dr-g addicts, alcoholics, people from other countries, who need to send money home all the time. They are all trapped in a vicious cycle no way to escape being stuck at Honeywell Monday through Sunday and holidays. In order to support somebody overseas, or stuck in there out of control addiction. You guys all have fun. I’m getting the he-l out of this company.
You should see these funny looking overtime freaks. Trying to find convince the no votes to accept their lifestyle. Here’s where the no common sense takes place. If you made more money, you would have to work so many hours. If you decided to work that many hours you would make more.
You should see the quality and workmanship of our parts. My division got a report from corporate and they were all red in every category. What do you expect from a workforce like this?
This might be a very short topic. We’ll find out this Thursday or Friday if I accept whatever they give us. If we don’t accept this proposal this week, then, next Wednesday, we’re locked out. These ba----ds will probably voted in. So I won’t be able to collect unemployment while I’m looking for a new job, what a joke.
