When will all of this layoff turmoil end? Very little productivity going on now within T. Its crazy to give employees 3 weeks to determine if they are on the "kickem to the curb list". They should be notified today and gone tomorrow. Stankey loves to torture T employees with these delay tactics. Let's get back to running this phone company.

The OP must be new to T, because he/she would otherwise know that the layoffs NEVER end. It's a perpetual thing with T. Every year, without fail, there will be at least one mass layoff event.
For a while there (about four years between 2015 and 2019) there were basically mass layoffs every quarter. Every. Single. Quarter. They were so regular one could set their calendar by it.
And there is no mystery: Stink and Randy were incredibly incompetent and every single business decision they made was a disaster, resulting in loss of money, loss of customers, loss of company reputation, loss of trust, and loss of consumer goodwill. And their incompetence was only matched by their egos, which continues to prevent them from seeing the real problem.
And so, like other incompetents, they have to blame others which in this case means getting rid of employees to cover their errors.
There is no end in sight. At least not until the top three levels of executives are replaced. And we know the board will never do that, because they keep raking in their money. The employees like us? Shoot, we're expendable.
Not only does it never end, the cycle of trying to do things better never ends. It was a decade ago when RS said we were on a journey with ENPS surveys and how the company was going to do better for its employees. Well a decade later and we are still on the journey with no real tangible results.
It'll end whenever you decide it'll end.
Pff for as long as im employed here, it has never stopped. It temporarily paused in 2020-2021, probably due to the pandemic, now its over, back to normal slaying off casualties of their mistakes.
