Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Bad business decisions

For all failures and all bad things that happen, our leadership always finds the culprit in something other than their own bad business decisions. And aren't their bad decisions the most to blame for the situation in the company as it is now?

Hey stock up over a buck today. I thought Stank was gonna sprain his shoulder patting himself on his back today.

AT&T stock is at two ten dollar bills at close today. Well done Mr. Stankey. We are behind you all the way. Signed: The AT&T Sycophants.
We will follow you around Akard Plaza!
We'll follow you from the 4th floor, we will always open your door. We will follow when you fail, we will follow you if you go to jail. We will follow if you are a crook, we'll defend the money you took. We'll turn a blind eye to mistakes you've made, and not care of the cost that's paid. We will tell you what you want to know, but that will be all for show. We know you know the best, but we know that is just your guess.

Everyone knows its the colossal bunders of R.S. and the board of directors that caused this trainwreck

Stock will probably go back down once the PR/investor relations spin wears off.

Stankey is just buying time until T-Mobile’s earnings and people start to ask the hard questions. For example, what exactly are the billions of dollars in impairments in wireline and Mexico? Why did that cause operating expenses to be 50 billion when it was 26 in 4th quarter 2021?

It is always "Due to unforeseen market forces" or due to "challenging labor costs". ad nauseum. If an individual with moderate mental faculties has been employed long enough with AT&T, one would be able to discern a pattern. "leadership" (with a little L) will not be happy until the employees begin to pay AT&T for the privilege to work for AT&T. Once this is established, AT&T would demand just a little bit more. AT&T "leadership" hates the employees almost as much they hate the pesky customers that ask for services that they pay for.
Providing services cuts into the profits of the real owners of our labor, the shareholders and the C suite.

We are the casualties of that mistake. Never them.
