Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Feeling anxiety?

I don't think I've ever been as anxious and nervous as I am now. I would like to be one of those employees who say that a layoff would mean almost nothing to them, but I can't be relaxed at all. At the very thought of losing my job and income in this uncertain economy my anxiety levels go through the roof.

I’ve been worried about this all night as well. Not sure why both ACE East and West has two calls one at 11ct and one at 11:30ct. unless it’s for those affected and those not

It’s to be expected. Use EAP if needed. You might be the only one posting about it - but you’re not the only one going through it feeling this way.

It's an awful position to be in but worrying is not going to change the outcome, so try not to focus on it. You'll have plenty of time for anxiety if and when it happens. Good luck!
