Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Creative financing

have a friend who is a teller at US bank and he says they have had tons of customers that pay their att bills and att comes back and says they didn't pay them.

att billing is a scam and I blame rand he is an accountant you would think that would be the one thing they would get right.

att as a company is nothing but one big scam,

So glad I moved my services to a competitor. AT&T deserves to fail.

Retail stores isn’t the only place we do creative financing. We don’t report all network expense as we should. By the time execs see so called “good deals” they are spun in a way that appears good but is bad for T in the long term.
We spend $50m on systems to pay our network landlords that do nothing more than make us have more work to do filling out fields in yet another system. How many do we need - why do we keep making Accenture richer?

Any employee that is aware of fraudulent acts of billing or selling and you don’t report it to authorities, you are just like stankey. You deserve to lose your livelihood. Not reporting makes you a liar and thief.

Well aren't you the righteous individual? We can't even get close to Stankeys crimes there sport. It would take thousands of us to even touch the the amount of damage Stankey has caused. We can follow COBC or follow "Leadership" can't do both. Following "leadership" seems easier if you abandon your morals.

At&t states that it can take up to 5 days after the receive your payment for it to post as paid. They are hedging their billing days in their favor by 5 days. I had a check that my bank statement showed it posted 3 days after I mailed it in and 4 days before the end of the grace period and T posted it 1 day after the grace period with a late fee on the next bill. I send them a picture of the check showing my bank paid 4 days earlier than the posted and the lady begrudgingly removed the late fee. I moved all services the next month. I hope they collapse and are not able to recover.

Show your employee badge up front. It’s will discourage unscrupulous salespeople from taking you for a ride. They will get you out the door and move onto better prey.

An as employee, there is NO way I would enter an AT&T owned wireless store to purchase anything at all. The sooner that fraud factory and the many levels "management" is dissolved the better. So much money could be saved by eliminating the cell phone retail sales model. I can buy a phone for 50 bucks at Walmart.
