Understaffed, they do not care, push Plus and Credit, yet they cut hours of associates with double digits and send them home during the challenges. What the flip? No cart attendants, so send worst floor associates out, they hit three cars. Kinda funny. I don't know what kind of new wave H/O management this is, but we have two cashiers and lines through seasonal, mad members, tell them H/O has cut hours. I think they are trying to run this company in the ground. Mr. Sam is flipping over in his grave. Just my rant for today, thanks for listening.

The company gives you enough hours, but only of all of your staff is top tier. That is very rare in this current pool of workers, but mainly the workers that apply to Sam's in the first place. No doubt we have some great workers, however, the other half of the pool are just basic and the 20% or so are just head count fillers and that is the problem. If the freight flow would become more streamline (just in time replenishment) all the problems would be solved and you could actually get by with LESS staff. #1 issue with Sam's is Logistics. It's the snowball that destroys productivity. Hard to believe this is not seen by H.O., or, they just don't want to see... You're not understaffed on the front if you are at HC. Problem could be the schedule maker and associates with limited availability tying up a spot...
The company doesnt care about mad members. If they give us a bad review it just comes out of our bonus. They only care about corporate making more money. If they cared they would take care of any of the unethical managers that are ruining the stores. They are just trying to make as much as they can before it goes the way of kmart.
