Yes. While the company reduce headcount to meet budgetary constraints, they must also make sure they retain the employees they really need to retain. There will most likely be both merit increases and bonus payouts for managers that makes the cut.

What did the bonus email say? I searched my emails for them and came up dry for anything in 2022.

"I know this sounds a little crazy but I'm expecting a 10% pay increase + 12% bonus. "

You mean you'll be happy with 10 empty promises and 12 inches up...somewhere?
That's the reality. Nothing more, nothing less.

Who cares if you get a bonus! Those who can’t manage….

Yes, bonus status emails were sent last year. I recall we may not have received one for the 1Q but did after that,

Thanks. I had been wondering about this. Did we get a single email on current bonus status all last year? And "selected employees" does not sound promising!

What a stupid question for the layoff site!!! But I see it over and over again. I doubt HR is on here to answer questions like that.

I received 2021 bonus info on 1/28/2022. It was a nice reminder to see the success bonus paid out at 142% for 2021.

Don’t know. Doubt it will be much if we do. I’d be shocked if it’s more than 80%. They’ll do something, just won’t be much. And raises will be 1-3%.

@ice - hasn't it usually been announced somewhat later in January? If I remember right it usually comes around when we announce fourth-quarter results which looks like 1/25 this year.
