Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Jon Summers -- SVP Info Tech is retiring at the end of January 2026.

I wonder why he just reorged his group this week if he is retiring in 2.5 months.

I heard that Santa Claus is replacing Jon Summers to be the next SVP and potentially the next CEO of ATT. Every employee will get a 6.9% raise. The 6.9 is a good thing ruined by a period. Peace.

I was not aware of the reading comprehension problem so many AT&T employees have until I found this web site.

@bx you tell them how Stank thinks he knows more than everyone else about their own expertise, he is so humble

@bp - you don’t know sh1t. He’s been in senior leadership positions for over 25 years and he’s one of the good guys.

Jon has been employed at ATT longer than I have been born. This dinosaur needs to retire/fire/leave and let the young blood takes charge of the organization. This guy does not do sh1t, and he was a small potato when I was first hired by ATT a few years ago. I guess ATT is going to save $3.5 millions per year. Peace.

h’s just cashing in millions and collecting bonuses without bringing any real innovation. anyone under him could do the same job that’s not the skill or quality of a true ceo
