Employment reference letter after layoff

Has anyone taken an employment reference letter from Oracle after being laid off (for next employer)? If so, does it mention any reason for termination (eg laid off)?

When I was job hunting after being RIF'd recruiters didn't blink an eye that I was RIF'd. But they did wonder why I stayed so long. (12 yrs) Staying with an employer long-term used to be a sign of loyalty. Now it's often seen as a sign of stagnation and just staying to collect a check, unless you can show that you advanced in the company. If I had to do it over again I'd look for a new job every 3 to 5 years.

Employment Status: Terminated

It won’t specify if you left or you were let go.

It will have you full name, what you went by (bob vs Robert), start and end dates, last position held and status.
Status will be terminated or on leave (it won’t say if it’s parental or vacation or flma).

@b1 Most former employers will only disclose when you worked for them and nothing more, to protect themselves from lawsuits,

It won't say that you were terminated but in the current climate there's no shame in admitting that you were part of a RIF - all it will say is that you did work there and the dates of employment
