The Splunk acquisition will be remembered as one of the worst corporate acquisitions in the last decade. Not just in tech but overall.
Grossly overspending on a company already entering into its rot phase...truly an epic own-goal for the ages.
Notice how no internal comms talk it up anymore...its like someone somewhere finally accepts what has taken place
Only winners are Datadog. Cisco buying their competition was such a gift.

SBG is a show of politics. It needs to be trimmed down. Too many under performers that keep surviving because their managers need low level performers as scapegoats
