Is anyone hearing layoff rumblings coming out of the org changes announced last week by Martin? Any ideas?
@7xz - I was put on the bench mid-December, and there were 40 people on the bench at that time. Now there is 110 (this is just US-based bench), and it fluctuates daily up and down as people drop off and are newly added.
I’m hearing about more people out end of January. I figured we were done until end of quarter but I guess not. Anyone else hearing similar?
@15m Just thought I would share, I did get the match. It's because I was retirement eligible...in any other circumstance it would be forfeit. A little silver lining since the belt is going to tighten for sure.
@11p I’d be interested to hear from anyone who can share their experience. Everything I can find says if you depart under any circumstance before December 16th (or around that date) the match isn’t be given.
Thanks for reminding me to look into my 401K match. Lucky I think I will get it due to age and years of service. I don't know overall numbers but I'm in US under operations. Cr-ppy timing!

Hopefully you’ll be around long enough to get the 401k match you’ve already earned. Losing that this far into the year would su-k.
