Yea by who?
Per my SVP “Ten toes Down” we have flexibility. Got right up on stage and told his entire team this. HR guy right next to him confirmed it. My AVP and Director have also confirmed this.
So every single leader I have from SVP down to my AD have ensured us the report is nothing to be concerned with, and you want me to believe an anonymous message board?
No thanks, I’m good. I know exactly what is expected of me and I have no issues at all.
I do not even look at the report anymore.
who cares? i stopped thinking about it and im going to the office whenever i want as long as im ahead in the project. they can fire me anytime.
@cw wrong. Was just communicated last week that they’re looking at the report weekly again.
STFU about the report already!
They stopped using it unless you’re a major outlier. From leadership mouth.
Because we are not a tech company. Anything homegrown is garbage. Until they buy a tool from another company it will stay inaccurate garbage
"I am miserable having to RTO and actually work."
If you have to RTO to actually work then you should already be gone. You are a failure of your boss, who should also be fired.
"Work as prescribed 9-5 M-F."
I have yet to see any document requiring working 9-5, nor has my AVP told us we need to work those hours.
"RTO is for collaboration and winning."
The people I support are spread all over the world. I have not met with any of them face to face in the 18 months I have been forced back to the office to keep my job. As well, my team is spread all of the world. All of our team meetings are conducted on TEAMs. So we know the collaboration excuse was just a cover for the real RTO reason -- excuse to get rid of people, and as many without severance. But you know this; you are just a troll. What you don't know is your opinion won't save you. The company is coming for you too. 100% RTO does not make you safe from being selected to leave the company.
There has never been an accurate report regarding office location and hours spent in for Ameritech, SBC and AT&T. RTO will go be the wayside. It’s a cycle, just stop taking about it.
I am miserable having to RTO and actually work. Not going to quit but I may get fired when the company finds out how little work I actually do.
@a3 Dude. Are you one of those guys who constantly sniff at the ATT restroom? Wake up and smell the coffee (or sh1t). RTO is not about collaboration and Winning as One. It is about making your life miserable or unbearable so that you QUIT. The real goal behind RTO is for you to QUIT without severance. If sniffing in one restroom is not enough for you, try to visit another restroom where the stalls are fully occupied - that will certainly wake you up and understand the smoke (or smell). Peace.
@a3 “RTO is about collaboration and winning”
Now that $hits funny! Keep drinking the Kool Aid my friend, RTO has nothing to do with either!
Do you have time outside of core hours?
Work as prescribed 9-5 M-F. Been done nearly a century. Prove they do not need to send your job overseas. RTO is for collaboration and winning. No whining
Accurate for me. Are you going into the office as told?
It is wrong and it is being used again for terminations. They admitted it’s not accurate but now wonder why it’s not showing 100% compliance. Maybe fix the fu-k!ng report and round up instead of down. It’s pathetic they can’t get this right.
