I rely on my medical coverage now more than ever, and the thought of losing it terrifies me. I’m just tired of living with this constant fear of layoffs. I wish we could go back to focusing on our work without worrying every day if we’ll still have a paycheck tomorrow.

You're not the only person who needs health insurance coverage in the US. How do you feel that leadership has purposely had you working under conditions that are hostile all the time. THEY WANT YOU TO LEAVE.
For real, I have been working on savings for years and it helps with anxiety but every time I have a meaningful cushion the goal posts move for how long it will take to find a new job and cost of living.

"""Corporate America changing overnight"""
Tough times we live in today. Corporate America changing overnight. People today wearing many hats which means less hiring. Look at job postings today and job responsibilities. AI coming quick and that will eliminate a lot of jobs via Microsoft post. Even if you have a job and interview either not landing it or being ghosted. Its been a tough few years. Corporate America wants to save money and healthcare. Greed folks.
Same here. This is horrible.
