Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

@gp they dont consider it outsourcing when the people are employees in another country. Therefore they get away with it. They are doing this very thing across all risk functions. They figure someone that can't write a competent english sentence can now use CoPilot to appear to be articulate and well spoken.

They r not incompetent but they are a pain to deal with since they drown us with mountains of model risk paperwork which sometimes makes no sense.

@OP The model risk team based in the U.S. is strong. But the quality has declined since the company began hiring in India in 2021. Turnover there is very high, and the work delivered often lacks the expected level of quality. Ultimately, the company will bear the cost of this outsourcing decision.
Outsourcing in WF is out of control now.

Its like all the other risk teams..... they are displacing and will continue to displace. If you are internal you already know what its like, if you are not internal just know they do bi-annual displacements in end of Q1 and end of Q3 and no rationale on who is on the list vs. not. Steer clear
