@br And that's pretty unlikely, given that robots are a harder problem than self-driving cars, and he's still years behind Waymo in that regard and may never catch up due to his stubborn obsession with just using cameras.
Actually, Intel’s BK and Elon have similar viewpoint busting. BK was going to make sub 14nm nodes without EUV steppers and Elon is going to make FSD without lidar

There is a 0% chance of Elon building a fab. If he ever did, it would be about as successful as a cyber- truck.
Elon oversells everything by a mile. Ignore his words. Wait for results (or lack thereof).
More likely is him buying intel for the facilities and then replacing all the engineers with Ai robots
