Some coworkers I worked with every now and then were just let go yesterday. Are they doing layoffs every Tuesday now??

I just hope this is not the new norm - every Tuesday.
This guys at the top just looking for ways to demoralize us.
I normally wfh Monday preceding the Tuesday after payday, just in case I was laid off , at least I did not waste my time coming in on Monday.
it is usually the Tuesday after payday but I'm pretty sure they bumped next week because it's a national holiday
