We recently hired an 18 year old for 82k. This place is a joke.

@OP new hires are making more than employees here 20 years in some positions. They "bump" the veterans up to get them to the new min to cover themselves. But they refuse to publicly post the salary bands. Get out, you are NOT valued by this company.

I left and can confirm 0-2 years experience at other banks are hiring at $60k-$65k. I am not shocked to hear that number. BNY will do nothing for existing employees who are below this base and will continue to give 1%-2% raises. Get out before they get you out.

That would be your analysts who so get bonuses after a couple months as erll as raises after 3 month. They also get cost of living/competitive pay increases when the rest of the employees get sh-t
