Just heard many people at Honeywell in Charlotte were let go.

What departments are getting cut in Kansas (I assume it's Olathe)?
I didn't know there were any departments left that can get cut; at least in Aero. There was only a few regulars left in Manufacturing Test, and the production floor was outsourced many years ago. I heard the last few in accounting were cut years ago. That leaves mainly the Repair & Overhaul as a department to get cut.
But other poor sots from other local HW divisions were moved there 10 or more years ago.

OP here, quick update.
Honeywell is downsizing certain departments in Charlotte, Kansas, and other states. So this is clearly a broader restructuring and over the next few months.
Honeywell is rolling out a 5% cut in workforce in Charlotte and some people are being furloughed.
Check WARN notice when they get published.
Is there an update on Charlotte or BA layoffs?

Its funny how HR used to furiously down vote every critical post on here and have now given up as they realized it was all true. EVERY step in the dismantlement of Honeywell was outlined on here years back.....the writing is so on the wall even the simplest Honeywell employees (of which there are many) now understand.
