Fiserv is facing client backlash over excessive fees

I heard that one of the driving causes for the crash is Fiserv is backlash over excessive fees, particularly on its Clover point-of-sale system. I read this in a Bloomberg article, has anyone heard anything about this internally?

Just d-mb money grab over and over again. Small sampling of nuisance fees introduced: access the app market - add a fee, have more than three employees - add a fee. Have a device that you have had for 5 years - no problem add an end of support fee. Have more than location and want to support it - add a fee. Have more than one device - add a fee.

@c7 You also get to have your not local outsourced employee to develop your outdated generic software and sell you an upgrade to it for 5 million dollars. A tremendous deal for any winner.

What merchant wouldn't want to pay $200 in monthly saas fees for a duo and a mini with the retail plan? It's such a great deal - and when you call support it even routes you to the Caribbean and your system shuts down and they hold your funds. Seems like the best option out there!
