Had a typically early morning lay off meeting today but they said it was a warning that we will likely be laid off in 45-60 days. What does that mean? Is that a 60 working notice or in 45-60 days I’ll get an official notice?

its a pre-working notice so that they hope people will quit by the time they have to pay severance.
I got the same thing (60 day pre-notice) and so far survived 30ish. It was very informal from my boss who had limited details himself and I had to press for more because it wasn't clear if I was on working notice. Anyways, ultimately it sounds like you'll be put on non-working official notice soon. I would not be surprised if they shorten mine, as I've seen them shorten broader locations that got pre-notice. Good luck! I was lucky to get 401k match and an extra year of service out of the pre-notice considering 95% of the people I know got ZERO pre-notice.
No, just means that in 60 days, they'll officially notify you and will be out on non working notice.
In the meetings the presenter will be very clear and concise about all the details yet there are people like the OP who do not get it. Good luck to them surviving in another job.
I agree with the first post, it means whenever they get around to it they will put you on 60 days notice and sever you after that.
You were in a meeting with people who could have answered that exact question.
