You really think setting boundaries will make a difference? They'll just mentally add you to January's layoff list. This company LOVES people who smile and nod and never question authority.
So true, now get ready for this - they will ask you to do what the laid off people were doing, you need to draw boundaries right now - document things you are working on and be clear when communicating it to the managers and up. they need to know what you are working on and that you have no bandwith to take on more work.
