Support roles

How do support roles usually do in these situations? Thinking L2-L4. It’s my first corporate layoff, so curious if anyone has previous knowledge from past experiences.

I was an L3 in WFM last October who managed to get a L2 role in merch in the 60 days I was provided. I thought because my work was pretty essential and I wasn’t the highest paid TM I would be spared then but wasn’t so I’m not trying to be overly optimistic this time around. TII has been taking a lot of our trainings with us recently. IMO it would be a bad move to replace me and my peers with TII as the turn around time would sky rocket with the difference in time zone but that didn’t stop them with the IDS team so

If TI is currently doing part of the department workload, expect L5 and below to take a hit. If not now then next year.

@b8 that’s the scenario we are in as well. We had some cuts last year and then roles were backfilled with TII.

Idk but I have heard they are trying to cut the L4 roles in my department. They have not been backfilling and trying to offload as much as they can to TI. Will vary by part of the org.
