Does coming into the office over the weekend count as a badge swipe? Could I come in on a Saturday for a few hours and WFH on a mid week day? It's still 5 days a week I would think?

@mx you must go home to a house full of cats with zero human interaction. That’s a good corporate soldier.
Spare us the work/life balance tripe. You were given an opportunity to execute a job. You are given money, regularly, predictably, and under penalty of law if withheld, to do that job. That’s the balance. You supply what the firm demands, and the firm supplies what you demand. If out of balance, one of you changes. Be the lighthouse or the ship, but recognize the situation.
@gm take advantage of exactly what flexibility ? I was fully remote (hired post covid). Look to the people that were hybrid and still chose to wfh 5 days a week if you want to cowardly blame somebody else, otherwise have a look at nearly every other bank that forced the same mandate. In your defense, you must be a simpleton in the middle of the sticks.
Weekend swipes are bonus points for Truist. Otherwise, get your butt in 5 days a week. March on! Lol.
You are the reason we are all being forced back to the office. Taking advantage of the flexibility we were given. There is no work ethic anymore. I hate driving into the office too, but I was happy to do it three or even four days a week to get my one or two day at home.
This is why the company continues to offshore! The quality is comparable and much less complaining and trying to work around what rules. Go find another job. Oh wait, you can’t.
@c9 Oh absolutely …because wanting a little work/life balance must clearly be a scam, right? Heaven forbid anyone try to make their career sustainable without asking your personal permission first.
You sound like a real joy to be around. I’m sure morale skyrockets the second you walk into a room.
Imagine how great Intel could be if its employees didn't spend all their time trying to figure out ways to scam the WFH policy . . .
