I liked JC, he obviously got replaced for someone cheaper.
Was there some other story there?

He blew threw the 5/25 budget and way past it… delivery was very spotty- there was some reasons to hold him accountable
We need to bring back KC.
JC was decent. Influential in edtech from what I knew and team focused. ET thinks they know IT, or think it can/should be done cheaper. It is a shame to just look at the numbers of the company to drive decisions without truly understanding the dynamics under the hood. Decision makers are pretty out of touch and don’t realize it. What’s the saying on culture/strategy? Too much organizational change with layoffs and new leaders to imagine it benefiting instructors and learners. seems like there’s plans to pop up hq in nyc. They’ve got a long way to go as a company to survive the change in edtech right now
@OP JC simply got outnumbered on the ET. Newer members of the ET didn't understand the power he had and they wanted it for themselves. MH does nothing to stand in their way. It's a very dysfunctional ET and everyone underneath them is paying the price, including their customers.
Someone needs to get rid of BC CCO, the worst - MH buddy buddy phony
Certainly not just about him alone. Executive team has nearly completely turned over. Only 2 or 3 remain from what 2 years ago? Also near elimination of entire svp layer (Departures I can recall- coo, cpo, cto, 2 GM, legal, accounting, cfo, ciso). Hope direction from Apollo works out for those remaining, seems to be playing out in MH and MW hands.
