Just wondering if Roundel will be impacted during this layoff. None of our leaders have said a word and it’s complete radio silence.

@ba as a Vendor who says:” I contribute 100+million to wholesale so eliminate x in your org and we can give you y of savings….” your statement is the EXACT REASON THE LAYOFFS ARE HAPPENING.
The org is being gutted and OB design and merch are being outsourced to vendors shrugging the risk from the corp to the vendor
The whole corp is in the process of being asset stripped by leadership who want Target to behave like Private Equity, agressively cutting costs to wrench larger profits without carrying the risk of missing investor targets.
Hope you sleep well, and your able to shoulder/have enough horsepower to merch, design, develop, and deliver another 500 to 700 DPCIs per cycle
lol you are not wrong but no way this happens while there is retail media with every other competitor @ba
As a vendor (over $100 Million at wholesale) Roundel is a complete and total waste. There has never been a case where they could prove a good ROI to us. Eliminate this sinkhole and the teams that support it and we can give you a lower cost of goods. Win win - we sell at a good price for our business and Target makes a cleaner / higher profit. At the recent vendor summit Target said we recognize we are hard to work with/complicate the relationship. Here is a great starting point
Who knows, but you guys are a revenue generator so I would think any consulting agency worth their salt would keep cuts minimal for yall
