Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Town Hall Question

Previously our department was allowed to attend Town Halls or watch recording at a later date, we were not required to work while attending or watching. It appears now we are to continue working while we attend or watch.

Interested what other departments do, are you allowed to watch or attend while not working or is the expectation to work while attending?

No, if you're watching/attending, you shouldn't be working. whoever said that is a liar. That's not true

There's nothing scheduled over it, but I am expected to get my work done even if it means working during the town hall or past my normal working hours (I am salaried so no overtime compensation). It's crunch time and this is the second town hall in two weeks that's on a very busy day.
