This has to be the largest layoff that the company has had in several years if it ends up being 2,000. In 2023, I believe it was a few hundred so it is going to be so interesting to see how next week plays out and how the ones who survive carry on.

Did you just start working there six months ago? They laid off just about the same amount of US employees during the August/September 2024 wave.
Christmas 2006 or 2007 if I remember correctly.
The entire company got iPod Nano, there was a mega party, and then a massive layoff a day after
August and September 2024. Did you forget?
