A bunch of AVP, VP, and SVP were fired over the last two days. It seemed like the layoffs spanned across all of the corporate functions. I would estimate the numbers in the dozens of people which is a lot for the executive ranks.

I was laid off...the severance package is very good.

How scary and uncertain. I still love you all from afar and I’m praying for you all.
@OP I should also add that the layoffs impacted a lot of the centralized functions in the business units as well, not just corporate functions. (KA and Kemper Life)
Sander's better not get millions like Lacher. I got laid off too
It was a total of 90 people let go enterprise wide ranging from execs to front line leaders in claim, training, compliance and IT. Duane Sanders was impacted, but like Joe, will remain with the org through the end of the year.
