For whatever reason I think they are tracking us? What does this forum think?

They are NEVER anonymous. I do not take them.
They do not do any good anyways. They cherry pick the good stuff and leave out any negative responses. WF does not care about you or me or any of it's employees.
Everything you say in a GES WILL be used against you. STOP taking them!
@bn Confirmed! HR followed up with me earlier this year regarding one of my answers. I was definitely shocked
No the survey is not anonymous. However reports provided to individual managers are aggregated into buckets with minimum of 7 people. Managers with fewer than 7 people dont get reports. But there is also breakdown by level which makes it easy in some cases to figure out who complained. For example if your team has 7 of more people but you are the only person at your pay level- the manager will know.
LOL NO!
Hmmm... I've been honest on the rating/choice questions, and more than a bit brutal at times on the free-form fields. Never suffered any repercussions...
the fact that they know exactly who hasn't responded gives away the game.
I just put what they want to hear, because answering critically doesn't change anything anyway.
About 15 years ago, I answered a question in some "anonymous" WFB survey "Is your manager giving you all the tools you need to do your job?" - something like that. I remember I requested a license to some (I believe editor software) and he rejected it months before the survey. So I answered "no" to that question on the survey.
A couple weeks later on a 1:1 call with him, one of his first questions was "So, , what exactly don't I supply you with to do your job?" I KNEW exactly what he was referring to. I've not trusted any survey since. THEY LIE
@ak Pretty sure you were laid off for other reasons. I've been brutally honest on those things for years and not a problem. They ignore most of it these days because everyone complains. So no, you aren't special. Not in that way at least.
They explain this every year. The survey is confidential- meaning your manager and business group will not receive any results with your name on it. However, they are not anonymous. HR knows exactly who submitted what and is required to use that information if there are any allegations of misconduct that must be investigated.
Who cares, I roast leadership every chance I get verbally on teams calls, digitally in chats, they know they fu--ing su-k. I openly discuss being laid off, IDFC, tell my boss the environment su-ks be it does. Submit a--hole questions to town-halls, is leadership obtuse how did they not see commercial loan risks related to WFH and COVID and then mandate RTO due to ineptitude. Fu-k this place.
@ak dang I should have done the same still waiting for the lucky call!!
FFS people, never ever do the stupid surveys! No good will ever come of it. Ever.
Confidential != anonymous.
Pretty sure I was laid off because I answered the question about executive leadership with the lowest possible score in 2024 :p.
No the surveys are not anonymous. You think they can’t see what company owned computer an email comes from?
And they don’t claim that they are. They say the surveys are confidential. That is not the same thing as anonymous.
Not even close.
Nothing is confidential nor anonymous at Wells Fargo
Confidential, not anonymous. If they want to know who wrote something, they can find out.
There is no secret in a corporate world.
As to the title question, no, they are not anon throughout the chain of custody. If the survey is hosted by a third party they collect identifying information but that information is not forwarded to Wells Fargo.
To the rest of your questions, yes, they track us. What is your concern? Report what you want to report and go on with your life.
