Our teams work so hard even being short staffed. Last week we had a great visit from our regional! Then this week our market manager came in and ripped us! The club looks the same as last week! So if a sign is a little crooked, or a pallet not on the line, we fail. Is it like that everywhere?

We HAD a manager like that. HAD
There is a lot of upper management high in company that have no idea of what it takes to run a club. What I mean by this is that they have never been hourly associates trying to stock, complete job assignments, take care of layouts, help out other areas, help members, short staffed and many other things all within a time frame on a daily basis. They just want to see everything done correctly and club making money according to textbook. They know nothing about real work and pushing orders to clubs in my opinion is not considered work!!!
I've worked in three different markets. It's literally the same everywhere. If you catch them in a really good mood or if they just want to get in and out of your club as fast as possible you'll get a lot of praise. If they come in after a bad day or because they have to be at your club that day then they'll pick you apart.
yes ... off and on.. we had our regional manager come in one week and the place was great.. the next week the place was just the same but the regional manager ripped it apart.. managers train to be never satisfied and if they are its an accident.. Never ever ever go tell a manager how well you did in your area !!!! Most will run over and find one little, thing even if they have to crawl on their knees to find it, and tell you how bad you did , that you must fix it and drop an bunch more skids for you to stock even if its just 2 selling units per skid that can be stocked. We had on manager on nights that was psychotic. Once he got it out for you he would ride and ride and ride till you just couldn't take it anymore. He got quit-fired and went to another compamy and then another and then another... none of them let hin stay as long as Sams did. He did his absolute best to hurt as many people as he could.....
