@11n Hahahahaha - I can't tell if there are really people on this thread who think UOP management is great and the business will swing back to growth (it won't) or that they are trying to be sarcastic and actually know that UOP management is totally incompetent to operate a business.
@hj ,
It will take more than two weeks of course. The UOP management has been running SolsticeAm for the last decade. Now the UOP management is coming back to work on UOPs amazing technology and business capability. Sky is the limit now for UOP, assuming the UOP management doesn’t get bogged down in running HPS or IA.
@dn Advanced materials is spinning off in 6 days. you think UOP went throught the RIF process to hire them back in 2 weeks?
All laid off people in various UOP sites will be called back, once the Advanced Material business is spun off. UOP has high technology and a great history. Margins are great and the management strong. Thats why it is remaining with HON, and is not being spun off with low tech, low margin Advanced Material business.
