Those who avoid being laid off might be considered lucky, but think about it. These layoffs will be huge. Teams will be losing multiple people. Who'll be doing the work they used to do going forward, since it certainly not going to disappear? People are about to have their workloads double and their pay remain the same.

I’ve thought of this as well. My POV is that, if I survive, I’m not going to go overboard on doing double the workload. At the end of the day, I didn’t cause bad financial decisions, I didn’t choose to layoff people, etc. I’ll help my teammates as best I can but I won’t be losing personal hours for execs' bad mistakes.
I hate the way things are set up in streaming tech, even before layoffs and SD/DE takeover. The constant threat of layoffs and uncertainty are just the cherry on top. Currently just going through the motions to live to get paid another pay period.
