That's what you get when incompetent management decides only to focus on US market. They are going to be missing bigger pie (international market). Should have done the due diligence.

@f9 All because somebody hired an outside consultant that recommended consolidating manufacturing facilities into “mfg hubs”. Swallowed it hook, line, and sinker. So much for any semblance of product line expertise.

NOV inc will inevitably lose the hydraulic fracturing equipment product line to ProFrac. Hydra Rig does not have the infrastructure required to be competitive in the market with little to no technical experience, zero capability’s of testing the equipment at both a facilities and personnel level, and the facility cannot house or manufacture a fleet order. It won’t be long before they close the doors on Hydra Rig as well. NOV inc is going under.

Confirmed. Some equipment will start to be moved almost immediately to FtWorth. Some will relocate elsewhere. When they are done they will scrap everything left and move on. Same with the employees.

A couple of years ago, they closed HR nitrogen division in Duncan, OK to save cost, however, they spent millions purchasing Wilco. Then they moved Wilco into that HR nitrogen location.
Now they closed HR Rollingon. It is just a matter of time when they close HR Fort Worth.
Nowadays, nobody in North America purchases new trailer equipment, they all get cheap ones in auctions. Hydra Rig only gets some new skid orders from SLB, and their balance sheet largely depends on services and spare parts.

No it’s not this happened yesterday we all received a letter stating that we would either be let go Q1 or Q2 of 2026. With some people having a specific termination date. And offered a severance package if you make to the end of your termination date.
