All our HR data is handle by AWS ....really?
Try to contact a human that works in AT&T HR you will never find ....anyone.
They subcontract all to apps or other companies.
We own nothing. Not even a server with our own data.
Good Idea, good implementation from our Bachelor in Arts Jeremy.
Let's hold all data for our network in Amazon Prime.

Benefits had been outsourced to Alight for some time. There are still a few employees who evaluate the options to be provided but the administration of those selections is Alight, Fidelity, etc. The decision of what vendor to use for that is HR not ATS.
@de
You're mistaken. HR didn't disappear in 2007 when Ed Whitaker skipped away with his platinum parachute; or when Karen Jennings left.
Compliance, Legal, Benefits, Training and others are still in place under the HR umbrella.
Some people think organizations seize to exist when they leave. Wrong.
BTW most corporations operate their benefits center through a Service Center manned by contractors.
Ask your manager
Once Ed retired and Karen Jennings left, that was the end of HR. From then on, it was viewed as an unnecessary expense and org, and thus it was outsourced and deemphasised (except for Executive Comp).
Source- I was there and watched it happen.
HR does exist but it is not in place to benefit the employees. It exists to protect the company, and the executives.
AWS will make AT&T great again.
When you call benefits, they are contractors, not AT&T employees.
I've been here a long time, never once seen an HR Employee. They are unicorns...
I love that everyone is discovering how much of their lives are owned by Amazon today... no matter who you work for Daddy Amazon is the real boss.
