I swear it’s like they are purposely trying to get the whole department of wellmed fired so the offshore employees have more work they change the SOPs and don’t update the leadership then flag us because we didn’t do one single step that we’ve never done before and doesn’t even involve HIPAA or verification then the whole department is stuck with low QA and we get chewed out by upper management.

@d5 why do you say not take the survey?
Welcome to WellMed! Upper management looks out for themselves, problem employees are allowed to stay, and you are expected to make up the difference. I've spoken with several people across departments who are only here to collect a paycheck while actively applying elsewhere. And you know what? No one can blame them one bit. You can only bend someone so far before they break.
These South Region issues are indicative of the larger issues with American healthcare. Listen to the All Optum Town Hall right now and see through Sandeep's empty platitudes.
@d5 who falls under ECS?
Yep love when a manager sends out an email with all caps, it will be 2 pm and now is demanding a list of stuff be done asap. I wish they would update the emoji list to include a middle finger.
ECS is a sinking ship, run while you can bc and whatever you do don’t take their survey. Letting so many people go this month and they know and don’t care at all. So many fires a day, leadership has no clinical background and has not a clue what front line staff do. Horrible culture with always on mentality. Bosses and want to be boss colleagues message you at all hours and on the weekends with requests, do they really think this is normal? Not to mention the tone, do this now, get this asap, me: ok anything for you….. rolling my eyes out of my head when I hear their voices it’s like nails on chalkboard. Peer review is going to highlight the amazing skills of delegation and micromanagement! Karma is heading your way
I’m in claims and have been interested about the QA team. Wondering if we will all be laid off eventually anyway
@OP what team are you part of?
