Serious question. What happens if we are able to organize a strike so that none of us works if even one of us gets laid off? They need us to work. They can’t afford to lose all of us. We can stop the layoffs if we band together!! Enough is enough!

@ca it was going to be in waves from the start, no org does one clean sweep - that’s not how corporations run
It kind of already happens. Entire departments took the buy out. They’re sh-----g themselves now and probably why the layoffs will be in waves as opposed to the original plan of one big swoop. They realized they can’t move forward if everyone leaves. Shocking, I know.
Good luck with that.. everybody in our companies are out for themselves . At least the writers guild has at least picketed in the past - but you never saw other employees join their lines.. especially IBEW, those cowards have never picketed or even had a strike in over 50 years . IBEW has let people get laid off without any representation before, during & after..If you are hoping to band together to stop working, it's probably because you deserve to go & you just want everybody else to be in the same boat with you.
@OP That's why we need unions, to have something advocate for us.
@a7 What is wrong with you? You have a terrible attitude.
Are you fu--ing ten years old, shut the fu-k up.
I think that would work! Then maybe after we could all gather around a campfire and roast smores and have hot cocoa while unicorns sh-t rainbows in a nearby field!
