The head of the org tasked with making the numbers work spends on vanity in their personal life. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
To be fair, it’s not only EB who wears designer brands…MG, LD, and MV have a wide collection.
They can afford it and it’s their money, so let them wear it.
Accessorizing with a $1k belt to stand in front of an audience you just laid off and telling them to embrace the su-k and still get work done is a slap in the face.
Let the woman wear her belt! It’s not like anyone working at Chevron can’t afford a H belt- it’s how you choose to spend your money.
