They’ve been doing small surgical cuts across teams for 1-2 years now. Mostly to move roles to India. Would they make cuts on those same teams again?

Honestly, nobody is safe. This is a significant RIF and they pulled in a consulting firm, so not only will there be cuts, but there will be a big reorganization of people and teams.
I don’t think anyone is safe.
