As anyone other than first poster said. No it is not. Either take as PTO or go in office as it is one of the 5 workable days this week.

Even when we had a bank it was only a “holiday” for the bank associates which would be a pain to account for with 3 day average for some not all.

Also why ask here when the Intranet has the yearly holidays posted at the start of each year every year for the last 2 decades. All emails this week said bank holiday and a valid trade date for our clients. Just about everyone has a laptop - login and check there? nah you’d rather check a layoff site wasting a d-mb post irrelevant to layoffs for this info.

NO. Bank holiday only. And we sold the bank over 2 years ago. If it was a stock market holiday then it would be

If you're referring to TIAA, no Columbus Day is not a paid holiday. The last two remaining 2025 paid holidays at the company are Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
