Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

severance pay

It has been 3 weeks since my employment ended at wells fargo. since then, I have not started to receive my severance pay. Is there usually a delay in the payments beginning, or is this the usual wells fargo way?

Were you on a 60 day working notice, or nonworking notice? If you were on a non-working notice you should be getting paychecks for 60 days after you stop working. Once that’s done severance should be seamless. I’m not sure how it works if you were put on a working notice, I would think that they should have plenty of time to make sure that the transition is seamless.

Why would you think Wells Fargo will pay the promised severance?

There is a 3 week delay from your last pay as an employee until your first severance pay .
