a people manager once told me that he could hypnotize people with his eyes. He weirdly stares at people with his eyes. Both top eye white and bottom white are in view. This is known to be a characteristic of pyscopaths like Charles Manson. Yeah the awful leadership at Cisco is real
My 1-1 coaching session were total BS. When I told a co-worker about several things documented, her mouth hit the floor on each one.
Total BS
I told another company that the PIP documentation was a big joke. Many of the points were not valid.
I wrote a 3 page rebuttal and gave evidence that the whole PIP was not valid along with factual evidence. I made the rookie manager look like a fool.
I did not even sign the PIP and left after 2 weeks of PTO. I could do it because of my US citizenship.
Anyway, I found a better job within a month.
About 20 years ago, one of the catalyst 6K manager was PIPed after everyone complained about work 6x9x9.
@gj you must be the last standup comic act.
A PIP story is a squirt story.
I keep telling management I’m absolutely loving being PIP’d out and we all laugh about it. Ha ha ha the director came down from on high and asked me about this and told him the experience has been amazing and my front line manager is handling the opportunity to PIP me out well. We are all laughing and joking about how my last day quickly approaching and I will be PIP’d out and out on my a-s!
What for ? In both cases, it is better from you to find another job,and try to negotiate severance
