LCS meltdown

Feels more and more like LCS only exists for media optics. No good path to profitability with any of the venture projects.
Equally concerning is the toxic culture created within…screaming, shouting, and slamming doors in meetings is modeled by management especially he who exited to run the U/S. Why is this behavior rewarded?

My former manager who went over to LCS was a cesspool of toxic behavior. I heard he did a lot of damage with his former company before he got run out.

Lied his way into XOM and ingratiated himself with a few execs. Did none of his own work but always there to take credit. Spent most of his time networking and dumped work he should be doing on his direct reports. He threw me and a few others under the bus….either to eliminate the competition in the rank session or remove perceived barriers because we call him out on the lies and bad ideas. I will rejoice when they fire his worthless a$$.

CO2 is plant food, not poison. Therefore, any project is unprofitable in LCS without We The People footing the bill.

With Fu---d Up, Sunflower, kiss a-s, DEI leaders like VP Lydia Johnson it is not unreasonable to observe that LCS is a sh-t show.

I joined the proxima group and immediately felt bad about the dysfunction. It took me 6 months to get transfered out of that mess. I did not care where I was placed because it was so bad. I was treated like an outcast and recieved no help at all. They all conspired against me and blamed me for everything. Proxima is a true dumpster fire stay away. I hope they all fail and I truly hate the program.

@am You're sick in the head if you think Indian's are more efficient. You're just cheaper. Not more efficient. You get what you pay for. You need 5 guys doing the work of one just American to have any gain at all.

I’ve had a few friends that went over there for roles tell me it’s the most toxic place they have ever worked within the company and a positive culture is non-existent.

LCS exists to extract free money from the government while the getting is good. It can (and probably will) turn on a dime. Not a viable business going forward.

LCS projects mostly cannot earn cost of capital, hence most will fail with govt subsidy or tax breaks. If EM remains a disciplined investor only the very best LCS projects will be funded. So Far the LCS investments have been sub par (Denbury for example) and H2 will struggle to get funding, which is why EM is selling down to foreign investors.
