Unionizing is not the answer, leaving the company is.

@3jg Shows what you know. Not an angry old man, but hate how corrupt OT execs are.
We try to stand up for everyone else in hopes things could change.
Employees need to unionize so OT has no choice but to treat them fairly!

Nothing happened
Goes to show most people on this forum have no idea what they are talking about.

This is just a group of angry old men complaining about the kids playing on their lawn.

I wish you guys that always complain would leave so others happy to work at OT could thrive

This cycle is all about eliminating non revenue generating employees along with business development rep. Sales and Marketing should be safe, but as hard as it is to believe, the product quality and improvements will get even worse. The board is going to run the company like Eddie Lampert ran Sears. Just market and make money for the executives. Transformco's (formerly Sears) model emerged from the decline of its retail core. OpenText could apply this by divesting products and proactively building out services and licensing for optionality since the core subscription product will just keep declining.

I found out a few ADM engineers have gone but I am not sure when. Could be months ago. No announcement.

Good Luck!
Dead silence at work. I know only one person affected in Engineering. I am sure there are others. These silent layoffs seem to happen every quarter.

@cj Sokay. OT does this whole stealth layoff thing anyway. Zero communication internally or externally. Hoping that nobody will notice or care. Strangest damned company I've ever worked for.

Glad ya'll keep posting, even if half of it is noise. It's the only way to learn WTF is even going on.

GIS is Global Information Security. Not a good look, promoting security products while making security a lower priority inhouse.
