There is a bill introduced for H1B and L1(aka BTC) visa. Call your senators to add more harsh restrictions!! BTC expats must go!

@by Easier said than done.
Take it from a consultant. I currently have two projects and another proposal that all have unpacking and fixing Ai generated workslop as a major deliverable.
@bw Americans aren’t exactly beating down the door to take these types of jobs.
Most want to make at least $200k working for a tech company and live in a comfortable home somewhere in/near a major city.
@a8+1k6c7ta95 this has to happen, happen fast, happen permanently!! So sick of American's getting shafted!!
@OP Call them and tell them what? To listen to me instead of their billionaire donors?
Sorry boomers, but this is all on you, and we can’t “call the manager” to force the problem. Don’t worry, we’ll fix it all when you’re gone. Until then, you get to eat what you cooked.
@bn not when we’re still doing your work because you either don’t care or cannot learn
why? they in turn will be replaced by AI hosted in US-based data centers.
@bt this is not true. They will send BTC expats on L-1 visa to the field to replace Americans. Count how many Indians in midland!!
The funny thing about the Indian people taking the office people’s jobs in the US is that AI will take their job in the next 3-5 years. Pretty much if you have a job working on a computer it can and will be replaced by AI. The best way to keep working in oil and gas is to actually work in oil and gas out in the field. It’s pretty hard to replace a job that is hands on. There are easier jobs in the field that office personnel could do like being a measurement tech or a regulatory tech that most people could do.
Not content with shutting down our offices all round the world, you also don’t want anyone else to get the opportunity to come and share their experience, expertise, knowledge and perspective in our US organization.
We are a stronger company because of our diversity.
If someone from India is on business trips and working, that is a violation of Indian and Anerican law.
There are a lot of Indians who come here for 2 weeks under the guide of training and are actually working. Some stay for months in hotels and are not paid for the work they do, while on ‘business trips’.
It is illegal, the managers allowing this should be held accountable.
Btc rocks..we will be expanding...no hc10 is required anymore as btc folks can do better job than them....
I want to see a bill become law that imposes tax penalties for sending jobs overseas.
