Green Grass in Albany!!
Got laid on Tryon St today! It was awesome
@2bp Sorry to hear this, best of luck to you.
My severance was 14 weeks. 2 weeks for every year of service.
y'alls lack of info on getting walked out/laid off is enough for me to believe you're lying. why don't you give some deets... did you get a severance? if so, how much
Can confirm: today is not a holiday for me and I DID get laid off in JAX today.
If you doubt me, well, perhaps you won't when your turn comes!
There are large numbers of employees on the markets/Merrill side who are not off today as they follow the NYSE (which is open today) holiday schedule and not the Federal Reserve holiday calendar.
@27v you won’t get real answer asking what they are doing here on a federal holiday because for some people, they sole meaning of life is their job title at the Bank. If they don’t work or talk about work or tell others about their work one day, they went hay wired. I can’t imagine their lives post BAC.
@27v oops sorry, I got let go tomorrow in JAX
@27t Ok this def CAP as the bank is closed today...what are yall really doing here?
I got let go today in JAX
My manager (and friend) just called me and said that I am being laid off next week. :( I appreciate him giving me a little bit of advance notice so I can get my resume ready.
I was thinking the same about green grass Albany, we'll miss them!
Why does c-suite need massive salary to justify this?
@1p8 Where are you located?
They just walked out 3 people on my floor. Getting serious out there!
@1da How can that be, grass is always greener in Albany :( Oh well, all the best Albany you hung in there a long time
I was sadly informed today that it was my last working day in New Jersey today.
I kindly thanks and appreciate every diffrendifferent one of my coworker over these years.
The great replacement (h1b, h4ead)
Is hitting hard.
Severance ?
Just got let go in Albany. Good luck everyone :(
Just got walked out this morning in Plano :(
@19c Consumer Small Business
@18w what department did you work for
Got walked out today dang it! It's happening!!
@qn+1k6bpq5rx - THIS!
Plus, making thousands of people miserable that they leave quietly on their own.
(much cheaper. it's all about shareholder happiness after all)
Still campaigning for my package which apparently will never come.
So I choose to leave and d@mn them all. Vampires.
Employers must give at least 60 days' written notice before a qualifying mass layoff or plant closing. Yes, WARN notices are required by law to be before the actual cut date. Can't believe we're arguing about this. Learn how to use google, id--t.
@z0 BAC certified H1B visa for 554 employees last year and that’s 0.26% overall in company’s organization. Overseas offshoring is a major issue instead.
Hopefully it's h1bs ! Time to hire Americans!
@qm Notices are not posted on the WARN site until the employees are notified. Doesn’t make sense that are posted before employees are notified.
Check each state’s WARN site, it states when posted, when employees notified and when their end date is.
I'm in Delaware and we heard about 30 associates were laid off In ops today
this company will not. be having any WARN notices. their strategy is layoffs that never hit that threshold requiring to file.
WARN notices go before employees are notified. Duh.
@q2 WARN notices don’t post until after the employees are notified.
If it’s in TX then it’s less than 50 people. There’s no WARN notices. I think this is BS
Oh no! Gee, I hope I’m not forced to join a platform that actually wins business in my area of expertise. I might have to do actual work and make actual market-level paychecks. Oh the horror…
I’m willing to bet who is making these posts, probably owns this site to drive activity to it.
Yuge!!
Next week is going to be a big cut. You'll see.
Too many people are leaving this bank on their own, they don’t need to lay them off. People are leaving my dept. and they are all being replaced.
