even if all these h1bs are gone , you wont get their jobs, They will work from Canada or India. Job goes to whoever can do the job , not some dude say I am American. I have interviewed candidates for a job which requires extensive database knowledge, people are applying with CV, as job previous job duty, created users in presidential database. In the mean time , if he gets promoted , or get RSU, make sure to come on social media and say only indians get promoted under Indian manager. I have folks in my team , does not solve issues, does not respond on slack , do the cr-p work and logoff. When the lay off happens, who gets the layoff ?
