Heritage Pioneer here. Pretty tired of this s...t show already. Nothing good here. Time to leave before it gets too damaging to my health.
How long do I have to stay not to repay for relocation? I know it's 12 month, but from which date does the count starts? is it buying of the new house? selling of the previous one? or from the start date at the new office?

Don’t you have some paperwork you signed explaining all this?
It's your effective date (check with Cartus). I moved before my effective date and changed teams before my move date, but my effective date (basically what you told Cartus or Pioneer HR at the beginning) is what I am held to.
As someone who relocated with the company it is your start date at the new area you transfer to. I think it is stated in the relocation synopsis.
Typical is 24 months from start date at new office. Be careful, as they will seek out ways to get it back.
Stay strong! We're all in this together.
Ask your cartus rep dummy
just go find job in other company dude..pioneer enginner is slow and dont know how to do simple job anyways..waste for exxon..
I was told "effective date," as in the day I showed up here. I have not confirmed this with HR... are they in India? Argentina? Thailand? Romania? How do you find who to ask? If you can't tell I am also counting down the days...stay strong brother!
If the company is make sure it does anything, it's clawing back money from employees no matter how small the sum.
@OP Just check-out/quiet-quit while you search for another job. Works for me.
Stick around and go for the NSI rank in April. It will guarantee paycheck until September 2026 plus you can take the PIL so pay until Dec 2026. Work on your mental health while you sandbag until April. Win-Win.
It is the day you requested relocation. Not move day, house purchase day, etc.
I’d be surprised if the company kept records good enough the claw back any of it. They reduced headcount. They might just take the W there.
