H-1B End Is Nigh

Both dems and reps are talking about reforming the visas.

Everyone knows it is hot garbage.

The end is nigh.

@rb I don't harbor an anti-Indian sentiment all of those income taxes paid by Indians could be paid by Americans also. In most cases Indians aren't doing jobs Americans can't do, they are just doing those jobs instead of Americans.

You white lazy Americans, you the problem. Always blame others, never yourself. Everybody can see all the bad come from people on top.

Chinese su-ks at communication, agreed. That's why you don't see many Chinese in leadership roles. To my surprise, some Indians su-k at communication (must be the ones without college degree, got h1-b with their years-of-"experience" equivalent), but majority are skilled at bullsh-tting and self-aggrandizing, that's why you see tons of Indians in leadership roles. They then bring their uneducated villager friends onboard but that's a different problem.

Overall I rather prefer Chinese who compensate their lack of communications skills with technical skills and solid work, without much shenanigans the Indians bring.

Those are jobs that Americans should be doing.

Just putting something I found here.

The U.S. government receives an estimated $250-300 billion in income taxes from the Indian American diaspora annually, a figure that represents a disproportionately large contribution given that they make up only about 1.5% of the U.S. population, according to a 2024 report by Indiaspora and Boston Consulting Group.
Key figures and context:
Significant Contribution:
The Indian diaspora pays 5-6% of all U.S. income taxes, despite being only about 1.5% of the U.S. population.
Total Income Taxes:
This translates to approximately $250 billion to $300 billion in annual income taxes paid by Indian Americans.
Population vs. Economic Impact:
This highlights the substantial economic contribution of the Indian American community to the U.S. tax base.
Economic Competitiveness:
The diaspora has significantly enhanced the nation's economic competitiveness over the years.

The Chinese and Indians are biggest a-s kissers out there...

Both want to stamp their mark on every work initiative to show how much important they are...

Neither can speak English properly, Fido can do much better getting rid of them all, followed by Blacks. (We never ask for a month to remember our history)

Honestly, DEI, H1b all needs to go away.

I have also experienced working with blacks and know how lazy they can be.

Indians, Chinese, blacks, DEI folks are nothing but scams

Check out the list of granted H1B's on the government site. Fidelity is in the top 25 most years. This is specifically to avoid paying domestic workers what they are worth. Whether you are ok with it or not those are the facts.

While the program is a scam and hasn't been worth it for decades, it's hilarious that people defend this other than those directly benefiting from it which is the worst of the problem. The company would fire literally anyone in a heart beat if they could and will do so the second they can. Keep fighting over your indentured servitude.

Did you run a global survey to confirm perception for each country or is this just your personal TED Talk? I am trying to understand your pain point here, is it that they work hard, know how to make better PPTs, or maybe live in million-dollar homes you can’t afford? Or is it simply the classic case of sour grapes .

I have no problem working alongside Raj, Bala or Sunil, I'm even friends with some of them. But, Indians as a people, a stereotype, a collective existence have bankrupted in my mind. If we do a net promotion score (percentage of thumbs up - percentage of thumbs down) around the world on the notion of "Indians", I bet it's in the negative territory.

I hate under-the-table kickbacks, I hate nepotism, I hate the inhumane grinding that ki-ls the WLB culture, I hate a-s kissing servitude, I hate Power Point worksmanship, heck I even hate the Telsa loving vanity custom plate which put "PA" and "EL" around the "T"esla logo. All these project an image that sickens me. If that makes me a racist, I'm guilty as charged.

The future is not promising either, their descendants, middle schoolers, bragging about their "million dollar home", and evoke their higher cast in a kiddy argument of which music instrument is better in the band...

What are you guys doing in your extravagant temple that looking down the Christian churches near-by? Shouldn't you reflect on why the whole world turns against you?

H1-b is stained brown and I blame their egregious schemes that bring it down. I'm saying this as a yellow Chinese H1-b. You see Chinese only hire Chinese anywhere?

Classic American tale, black citizens were always been discriminated, civil rights violated.
Yet no one cared about it...

And suddenly, couple of white people die everyone loses their mind.

One of those white dude once said "giving civil rights to black was biggest mistake"

And
"If I see black pilot while boarding a plane, I'll wonder if that dude is even qualified"

Imagine hating immigrants more than pedophile, that's what this country has become.

The radical right has brain washed everyone into thinking if you're white, you're not right.

I'm short white's right, black alright, brown you better go down ...

@b9 Bring on the recession. We need price deflation. Indians leave, and prices fall? That’s a double win.

Those wishing for h1b to end, here’s some food for thought:

There’s roughly 5 million folks who are on h1b and 3 million h4b dependent who are also employed.

Imagine all of a sudden 8-9 million people who have house, car, kids in school are forced out due to executive order.

This will cause serious real estate market crash, keep in mind these 8-9 million people buy things they need on daily basis, food, daily supplies keeping businesses (American businesses) running, paying tax (much higher than any ethnic group) pumping money to economy keeping supply demand in balance.

So now you suddenly have shortage of 8 million consumers in various businesses. The supply chain is impacted, there is no need for production, companies known to keep profits layoff people (AMERICAN PEOPLE)

People loose buying power further impacting supply chain, suddenly we are in severe recession, this time middle class Americans bore the brunt while the top 5% remain unscathed

@aj can't speak English??

Perhaps issues is YOU can't understand their language, if you go to a cliche construction site, it's common to see people communicate in their language, Spanish sometimes.

So much for being free speech advocate when you can't tolerate someone spreading their own language.

Here we go again with hate posts.

Soon the comments will be filled by right vs left rhetoric by same 4 people who apparently have no other job than posting comments on an anonymous site.

Bet the OP is same dude who'd advocate for having a pic of the mo--n dude who made so many hate filled statements like "LGBTQ members should be stoned to death" on US coin

Abby is probably flabbergasted to find out that her company has been occupied. Some white upper management need to be held accountable. It's them who drink the a-s-kissing day-n-night grinding Desi Kool-Aid.
