Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Fair Warning - Go Ahead and Ignore Me

For those expecting a golden parachute, consider this a warning: the bank does not want to pay severance. They already stretched funding for layoffs this year, and the idea of generous packages next year is a myth.

What you will likely see instead is a rise in “inconsistently meets” ratings or worse. If you miss your 4x8 schedule targets or fail to stay “in the zone” with daily activity metrics, don’t assume it will be overlooked. Ignore this at your own risk.

The system is designed to keep you boxed in. Step the wrong way and you may quickly find yourself on a PIP and out the door. This isn’t about development—it’s about attrition. They don’t need to force you out if the conditions drive you to quit on your own.

And don’t make the mistake others have made by filing complaints during leave—you risk being terminated for cause. Right now, management is looking for any excuse to cut costs.

That’s the reality. Take it seriously.

This is an id--tic and a very uneducated post. Is there a workforce reduction strategy, of course. But all of this is supported by processes and procedures that are constantly under scrutiny by internal audit. If any of you have worked in risk, you know this already.

LMAO. They have been tracking comings and goings for a long time. But they will not track clicks, swipes, etc. Did they have a conversation with us about doing what we get paid to do and not try to ‘trick the system’? Yep!

You all act like this company is always out to get you. Just move on…or do what you get paid to do.

My manager said this about a year ago. I believe her now. But as psychology would have it the people on this forum still continue to attend CEO town halls, show up for volunteer events, work more than 8 hours a day, and all the rest. Heck, we even told this forum the desktop analytics were in already tracking utilization, but this forum balked at it. Ironically, I think WF is playing a counterintelligence game here. If they do not like something they ask for it to be scrubbed. If they cannot get it scrubbed, they downvote it and try to discredit the poster. It's kind of cute if you ask me.
