I personally felt he demonstrated why our company is ranked # 567 out of 600 Companies for Employee Culture.
He said nothing new but did double down that in spite of reading the survey comments, nothing is going to change.
Let me repeat that… Nothing is going to change.
He symbolizes what is wrong with our once great company.
Bravado yet doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.

I was sure that Cox Anthony was going somewhere with his blah blah blahs. I was wrong of course. Reminds me of ServiceLater. All the id--ts gather around the shiny new toy that’s been rammed up their technically illiterate bung holes, never admitting its the wrong product for the wrong job at the wrong time. I blame Legg, our CTO, for continuing to spend the money for it and letting IT dig a deeper hole than the one in Uranus.
#North Korea
C Anthony, my DEI brother. I laughed my a-s off at your lack of leadership.
To all my co workers, they monitor movement and score you on it. They don’t want you to hunker down. They want extroverts! Extroverts! Stupid a$$es. I’ll be putting up my two reflective pocket mirrors on my desk, turning on my heat lined jacket and messing with your stupid heat sensors and motion sensors, aight’ LMAO!!! I’ll be walking around like I’m going to $hit my pants. My extrovert ranking will be through the roof. Another useless metric your paying through the nose for. D-mb d-mb C Anthony the big a$$ kisser.
We all know how he got that job
Yes indeed the remark about “assigned seating” at “certain locations” 9 seconds before it ended was a throwaway line.
“ A "throwaway line" refers to a remark made quickly and casually, which may be intended to be unimportant, humorous, or to suggest possibilities without having significant meaning in the immediate context.”
He said something to the effect of “you have no right to resist”. I thought what a je-k!
He said if you don’t like it, you better not come in and resist.
Like wtf?
At&t has a lot of debt, I mean a very substantial amount of debt. All of which was incurred by "leadership". Do any of you think mid to high level C Suite executives care what any of you think?
They want you and your cost gone!
The sooner you understand this, the sooner you will look out for yourself.
The arrogance and smugness didn’t help him.
@bh assigned seating at certain locations means nothing. Sorry. He said that as a throw away line 13 seconds before the show ended. It was a pitiful thing to do. Sorta like throwing bread crumbs while he’s having cake.
Sounds like we all need to get the “blue flu” for a couple of days and see how they like that.
Ten toes down? Been working remotely since the early 2000’s. Now it’s suddenly the devil? Get real! Ten toes down implies loyalty and a family environment. CEO said neither applies, so there’s that. Can’t have it both ways.
At the end he did answer a question saying Yes, we’re working to give assigned seating at certain locations. That’s something. Waited until most left the call to say something was actually going to change in RTO locations. Why? What’s wrong about giving people hope for change? They might stay?
Looking into the camera and saying we don’t give a sh--e what y’all think was cold blooded, tho. Repeatedly telling grown people they can look for another job if they like is unnecessary and just an attempt at being cruel.
We Can and Should Do Better
We’re 567 and next year we’ll be number 599.
@bc I guess it was “bad” because he admitted the surveys had many negative verbatim results. Lots and lots of negative comments according to him about How and Where We Work. He went on to say he’s not addressing any of that. Period.
So we’re left wondering why bother with filling out surveys?
If ATT wants us to be more like North Korea , so be it. 🇰🇵
He gets paid to toe the line. If he didn’t he’d find himself out the door like Sambar. He gets a huge paycheck to say that stuff. Not faulting him, he’s simply a parrot, what can he do? He deviates, he’s gone. He goes hardline, Stanks pats him on the back and maybe he makes another bar. Stank is calling all the shots. They don’t care. So I don’t care. 567 - 8 and skate.
If this was so bad get it out in the open. People lap up our internal sh!t storm. Don’t just complain here
So we get an angry McEl Freak and we get a stupid HR woman to host the EGC conference and now this …
In order to obtain and retain great talent, AT&T, you gotta do something about this.
Like yesterday!
Seriously, get better leadership before you become the next AOL or Sears.
We can do better!
We don’t need this type of leadership!
And don’t get me started on IT’s direction with ServiceNow. Just stop it and get better leadership.
"He’s done talking about RTO and said he doesn’t wanna hear it"
Then do not send out an employee survey. I sure as hel won't be filling it out next year, and I have been a big proponent of doing the surveys in the past.
We need new Leaders.
This was a sh1t show.
He should not be in this position.
Watching this was embarrassing because I know we can do better as a Company. I’m sorry but this “leadership” is lame.
We can and should do better,
This is not the best we can do.
He would not be promoted outside of ATT.
His demeanor and attitude are appalling
Ryan said don’t come in and just slam your headphones 🎧 on and be like all shy and introverted.
He said you HAVE to be here so make the most of it and be an Extroverted person.
“We are NOT changing direction with How and Where We Work”—- C. Anthony.
He said he read all the complaints but he’s not changing anything.
Ryan said to the Managers “If someone needs to go to the Doctor, let ‘em go to the Doctor”.
🙄
Gee Thanks Ryan.
Yippee how kind.
Why did he have this conversation?
Good old mumble mouth, shucking and jiving CA.
567.
He’s done talking about RTO and said he doesn’t wanna hear it
What was the Point of all this?
Serious question 🙋
What was the point of this show?
just a tool at the end an enforcer without real power, playing the game of authority and leadership only for the paycheck
can you really imagine this ‘yes-sir’ type calling the shots?
Why were # 567 gang.
🙄what nonsense. Glad I didn’t watch
His sidekick Ryan actually mentioned this Layoff Site so they do read it.
Ryan also said don’t be an introvert and do be an extrovert when you go to work.
He said don’t just sit there with your headphones on and talk to no one and then leave.
He said get up and talk to people and be an extrovert.
He’s done ✅ with the whining about RTO and won’t be talking about it again. He said he’s done.
@ap it was a Hip Hop quote basically saying get with RTO or leave. He’s done ✔️ talking about RTO
He said a quote from Hip Hop, not a rapper—- Ten Toes Down On That Choice and move forward is what he said.
He was saying get with the RTO program or leave
The phrase "ten toes down on that choice and move forward" means to be fully committed and resolute in a decision, with no intention of backing down or changing your mind. It is a firm declaration of purpose and a commitment to follow through with integrity.
Key concepts in this phrase:
Ten toes down: This slang term, popularized in hip-hop culture, means being completely loyal, committed, and grounded. The imagery of having all ten toes firmly on the ground suggests a solid and unshakeable stance.
On that choice: This refers to the specific decision or path you have selected.
Move forward: This indicates your intention to take action and progress with your chosen course. It implies a dismissal of hesitation or regret.
Essentially, the message is a powerful statement of self-empowerment and determination. It conveys that you have made your choice and are ready to face whatever comes next with resilience and commitment.
He’s probably proud of himself
I’m not in that org but the Townhall that we had was this pretty much the same. I’m beginning to wonder if we’re being set up to be bought out by Elon Musk. Since we’re aligning so hard with his EXACT initiatives and they even quote his slogan verbatim - “We’re better together!”
What was the name of the rapper and what was the quote? I heard it but I didn’t understand it
